TWO PATHS, ONE LESSON: THE STORIES OF CHRIS AND TAYLOR

Chris's Story: A Lost Opportunity

Chris attended an event a while back, felt momentarily inspired, but then drifted away. The organization missed the chance to meaningfully connect. Without a dedicated and systemized – and most importantly, human – follow-up, Chris's initial spark of interest faded into the background. Chris has become one of the 73% of people who come to an event once, and then never return. Research shows that this is a common story of missed opportunity due to a lack of strategic engagement.

Taylor's Journey: Embracing Engagement

Now, meet Taylor. As with Chris, Taylor’s first encounter with your organization was brief. But this time, things were different. Your organization has implemented specific strategies to connect on a human level, and is evolving those strategies over time. Taylor appreciated the personalized effort your organization had taken the time to put into place. She felt welcomed. This heartfelt outreach brought Taylor back, transforming her from a one-time attendee to an active, enthusiastic community member. As her frequency of participation increased, she began to feel a genuine sense of belonging. Soon, she was volunteering to help first-time attendees feel the same sense of community and belonging.

Humans connecting with humans is an amazingly powerful force.

It's about understanding the profound impact of intentional, human-centered engagement strategies in building a thriving community. MY LIFE'S WORK: FROM FIRST CONTACT TO LASTING BOND

I’m Ron Evans. I have made it my life’s work to help people meaningfully connect with the amazing work of nonprofit organizations. Over the past 15 years, my strategies have helped over 200 nonprofit leaders to exceed their expectations, creating tens of millions of dollars of earned and contributed revenue in the process. In 2015, I was offered the opportunity to undertake a PhD process studying the emotional connections people have with live experiences. After earning my doctorate, I designed this masterclass to dramatically improve the emotional connections people have with your nonprofit organization. I want the world to benefit from what I’ve found moves people to deeply engage with you, and your mission. And I guarantee my work: If the masterclass doesn't live up to your expectations, you can either attend a future event, or request a full refund.

NEXT STEPS

Because this intensive is small and I want to make sure only the right mix of people are attending, I require each registrant to have a conversation before enrollment. Simply book a discovery call and we can discuss if this experience is right for your specific needs.

Join me for a transformational experience for you, your organization, and every future person who attends your events for the first time! Questions? Contact ron@askronevans.com.

WHAT CLIENTS SAY

“Thank you so much! This is all such fantastic work. I love that there could be really concrete (and sometimes simple) fixes. I also love how the rating system as well as your presentation really challenged the grantees to think about their online marketing in terms of quantifiable measurements – something that I think they are not used to doing, but now with the technology are able to pretty easily. I am pleased to see CCF arts grantees already implementing suggestions and seeing results.”

“For his deep knowledge of marketing and the Internet (and where the two come together), his passion and commitment to his work, his natural gifts as a teacher and discussion moderator, his impressive connections in the field (through whom he continuously enriches his base of knowledge), and his all-around likable and generous demeanor, I give Ron my highest recommendation.”

Matthew Campbell

Director of External Relations, Stanford Lively Arts

"It was a pleasure learning from Ron's expertise and deep knowledge of marketing during the course of the ENGAGE: Arts and Marketing Social Media Workshop Series presented by the Los Angeles County Arts Commission. Ron went above and beyond as the program designer and spent time individually analyzing each participating organization's marketing channels while giving strategic insight and advice into each participant's work. What is especially great about learning from Ron is his passion for understanding and implementing CURRENT marketing trends. Many marketing companies tend to give out dated data; Ron not only gave current and relevant information, he allowed us insight into his studies. I highly recommend his services, and look forward to working with him in the future."
